Elle est compos\u00e9es de d\u00e9bris calcaires ciment\u00e9s par une phase elle aussi calcaire.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 25.9897%;\" valign=\"top\" width=\"\" height=\"\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>Couleur et structures<\/strong><\/span><\/td>\n<td style=\"width: 74.0103%; text-align: justify;\" valign=\"top\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Suivant la composition originelle de la pierre, ses structures et son histoire g\u00e9ologique, les min\u00e9raux riches en fer contenus dans la Pierre Jaune sont plus ou moins oxyd\u00e9s. Ces variations de teintes (jaune p\u00e2le, ocre, dor\u00e9, violac\u00e9, rouge\u00e2tre, bleu\u00e2tre, verd\u00e2tre\u2026) et de structures donnent son aspect \u00ab\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/conservation-science.ch\/astuce_pierrejaune_couleurmurartificiel\/\">vivant<\/a>\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 cette pierre.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 25.9897%;\" valign=\"top\" width=\"\" height=\"\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>Test \u00e0 l&rsquo;acide<\/strong><\/span><\/td>\n<td style=\"width: 74.0103%; text-align: justify;\" valign=\"top\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">La calcite (CaCO3), principal min\u00e9ral constituant les calcaires, r\u00e9agit avec l&rsquo;acide chlorhydrique dilu\u00e9 (HCl \u00e0 10%, soit 2.87 M). Malgr\u00e9 sa porosit\u00e9 parfois importante, elle absorbe difficilement l&rsquo;eau liquide par capillarit\u00e9 (coefficient de capillarit\u00e9 massique compris entre 1 et 11 mg\/cm\u00b2.min\u00bd et coefficient de capillarit\u00e9 lin\u00e9ique entre 0.1 et 0.4 cm\/min\u00bd). Ces cin\u00e9tiques d&rsquo;imbibition capillaires aboutissent \u00e0 un faible remplissage du volume poreux (coefficient d&rsquo;Hirschwald entre 6 et 25%vol.), ce qui implique une protection naturelle de la Pierre Jaune contre les d\u00e9g\u00e2ts de gel, protection qui est renforc\u00e9e par un s\u00e9chage rapide et efficace.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Sa bonne r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la compression (entre 10 et 23 N\/mm2), ses tr\u00e8s faibles dilatations hydrique (entre 0.2 et 0.7 mm\/m en 72h) et thermique (entre 3.4 et 11 x 10-6 mm\/mm.\u00b0C \u00e0 70\u00b0C) sont autant de caract\u00e9ristiques techniques qui expliquent la tr\u00e8s grande durabilit\u00e9 de cette pierre.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">N\u00e9anmoins, les observations montrent que la Pierre Jaune est relativement sensible aux alt\u00e9rations li\u00e9es aux sels, ce qui explique probablement pourquoi les socles des \u00e9difices en Pierre Jaune sont souvent en pierre dure et dense.\u00a0<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 26.6781%;\" valign=\"top\" width=\"\" height=\"\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>Alt\u00e9rations les plus courantes<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/td>\n<td style=\"width: 73.3218%;\" valign=\"top\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">L&rsquo;observation de nombreux b\u00e2timents construits en Pierre jaune montre que les alt\u00e9rations qui l&rsquo;affectent le plus souvent sont des alt\u00e9rations plus esth\u00e9tiques que structurelles, telles que les patines brun\u00e2tres qui se d\u00e9veloppent sur tous les \u00e9l\u00e9ments de fa\u00e7ades qui ne sont pas directement expos\u00e9s au lessivage des pluies (<a href=\"https:\/\/conservation-science.ch\/astuce_pierrejaune_placeduport2_01\/\">exemple<\/a>).\u00a0<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>QUELQUES TRUCS POUR RECONNA\u00ceTRE &#8230;
